Hard month
It's July 1st. I should be in bed, however, it is dawning on me that it's going to be a hard month for me.
July 4th - The reminder of good times gone by and this year, those good times will be me, alone, all day and then having to go to work to take pictures of other people setting off fireworks. At least I know our other reporter has a valid excuse for missing the event - you can't fake a wedding.
July 6th - I've got my reasons. However, it's the same day I'll be looking deeper into this whole cop thing with someone who has a hell of a lot more insight than me. Good. Let's get the ball rolling on this thing. Let's hit the streets already...I'm dying over here.
The week of wheat fest - HELL ON EARTH. I don't know about the rest of you, but covering festivals is just nothing but PR and PR is the devil, so technically I'm in Hell. Baby contests, sand contests, pie contests, ugh. The only enjoyable part is seeing two certain Wellington kids do the lip sync contest. THAT IS IT!
July 20th - My 8th wedding anniversary, though there won't be any celebrating on either of our parts. What the hell is there to celebrate anyway?
July 21st - Yet another personal reason.
And to top it all off, I probably pissed off the one person I really didn't need to today by joking around. I'll have that reconciliation to look forward to sometime this week, probably tomorrow. *sigh* Can't wait. (IASNLFTTAA. ITHIBABFBATANTGUNOLAYWA.)
